Cultural Narrative
Based on the Nagajuban which was worn under a Kimono as it was too expensive and difficult to wash a Kimono. A sort of old school underwear.
PJIMI pays homage to the traditional underwear worn under a Kimono and is therefore designed to complement our KIMINI.
Crafted from Tencel Modal— a soft, safe, and sustainable material that feels twice as soft as cotton, ensuring bedtime is a sanctuary of comfort. The fabric is considered sustainable, because it is derived from renewable wood sources and produced using a closed-loop process that minimises waste and water consumption. The fibres also excel in regulating moisture, a key element for restful sleep, while maintaining softness that withstands repeated wash and dry cycles, surpassing cotton. -
